Legacy Analytics
Giving family-owned businesses the analytics tools that only corporations used to have — so they can compete on the same level.

Business Health Score with 8 operational vitals
◦ PROBLEM
Family businesses run on gut instinct because enterprise analytics tools are built for corporations — expensive, complex, and out of reach. Meanwhile, chains use data to outmaneuver them at every turn.
◦ APPROACH
Interviewed local RGV business owners to understand how they actually make decisions. Designed tools around the data they already have — not the data enterprise software expects them to collect.
◦ SOLUTION
A bilingual platform with 7 essential tools — sales, cash flow, expenses, taxes, funding, succession, reviews — in one place. Simple enough for a first-time user. Powerful enough to compete.
◦ IMPACT
Created a pathway for small business owners who want to level up but never had the tools. Pivoted from gated tiers to a 14-day free trial after user feedback revealed conversion friction was the real barrier — not price.

Glowtique Med Spa
2026 · Client · ShopifyPrivate until launch
A storefront for a regulated medical practice, built around what it can sell online, what it can only describe, and who is allowed to buy.

Home: every treatment leads to a consultation
◦ PROBLEM
A med spa in Edinburg needed a site that sells some products online, only informs about others, and sends every treatment to a consultation. Their own attempt at editing the theme had stalled, and their location details came off a flyer that turned out to be out of date.
◦ APPROACH
Audited the store and the flyer before building anything. Raised two compliance risks with the owner up front: health information in booking forms, and patient consent for before-and-after photos. Confirmed the locations directly, which cut three listed locations down to one.
◦ SOLUTION
Five pages on Shopify's Horizon theme. 15 services in four groups with Spanish subtitles. 11 products and 34 variants imported from a generated catalogue. A tag-driven purchase rule with three states, so the owner decides what sells, what only informs, and who can buy, without touching code.
◦ PROCESS
After three rejected uploads from guessed settings, I wrote a validator against the theme's own schemas. It found 94 more invalid settings that Shopify had been silently ignoring. Every push starts by pulling the live theme and diffing it, which caught the owner's own edits before they were overwritten.

Wichos Paleteria y Neveria
A family business site where Spanish comes first and nothing is claimed that the owners didn't say.
Wichos home page in Spanish with the 100% fruta natural headline
Spanish by default, with an English toggle
◦ PROBLEM
A family-owned paleteria in McAllen, open since 2017, with a Spanish-first customer base and no site that spoke to it.
◦ APPROACH
Rebuilt the story page around the owners' own words, and removed four pieces of copy written during the concept that the owners had never confirmed, including an ingredient claim.
◦ SOLUTION
A fast static site with no framework, Spanish by default with an English toggle. A custom flavor request form with validation and spam protection. Photo slots that fall back to illustrations until real photos arrive.
◦ PROCESS
Translation runs from one dictionary. A coverage check compares every visible string on every page against it, because a missing line silently falls back to English and looks fine to anyone reading in English.
